Finding Hope in Hard Times

Life is like a garden with different seasons. Sometimes things are good, and sometimes they are hard. The Bible says that everything has its own time. This means that even when things are difficult, it won't always be that way.

It's easy to feel sad when things go wrong. You might feel stuck in a bad situation. But remember, if you are "going through" something, it means you are moving forward. Think about a tree in the winter. It looks dead, but it's getting ready to grow again in the spring. We are like that too. We have times when we grow, times when we rest, and times when we start over.

Look at the trees around you. They stand strong in storms and sunshine. Even when they don't have leaves, they are getting stronger for the next growing season. They understand how life works. We can learn to be strong like them.

Your good days are coming. Your time to shine is on its way. When it arrives, you will know it. It will be clear that things are getting better. God says, "I know what I am planning for you. I have good plans for you, not bad ones. I will give you hope and a good future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

So, keep your faith strong. Keep praying and let go of the things that worry you. Give your troubles to God, who can help you.

If you feel like you are walking through a long, dark tunnel, remember how God created the world. First, there was darkness, but God made light. He can light up your path and guide you through the darkness. Think about trains in tunnels. We trust that even though it's dark for a while, we will see the light again.

Our faith is like that. We might go through difficult times in life. But we should never lose hope. We should always believe that the light will come back. We trust in God, and He trusts in us even more.

Accept the different seasons of your life. Even in the darkest times, you are growing stronger. A brighter future is still possible. Trust in God's plan. Know that your time in the sun is coming. Hold on to your faith, keep praying, and never lose hope. You will come out of the tunnel stronger, wiser, and full of light.

Feeling lost and in search for the truth

Life can feel confusing. It's like not knowing what to believe or what's going to happen next. Sometimes, it feels like you're fighting your own inner battles, like your own thoughts are working against you.

It's tempting to take the easy road, like signing a contract that takes away your freedom. But it's better to stay true to yourself, even if it means you don't have as much money. Money is important, but it's not everything.

Everyone wants to find their purpose, but it feels like everything comes at a cost. You might have to give up your dreams, your peace of mind, or even your money. Life isn't easy, and nothing is certain.

For some, talking about these feelings is like therapy, a way to breathe and cope. But it's also scary to think about the future and make important decisions. One fear is ending up alone. You see perfect relationships online, but they often don't last, because people care more about what others think than about each other.

Sometimes, we don't appreciate what we have right in front of us. We're always reaching for something more, even when everything we need is already here. We all experience the same emotions, like sadness and joy. We all live in the same world.

It's easy to feel like we're being lied to, like everything is fake. Companies try to sell us things that we don't need, and it hurts our spirit. We spend our money trying to buy happiness and friends, but you can't buy trust.

We've forgotten how to take care of ourselves emotionally. We put celebrities on pedestals and treat them like gods. But it's impossible to reach heaven if you're chained to the ground. We've become consumers, worshipping things instead of people.

Someone once pointed out that people in cities love money so much that they become disconnected from each other. We've built walls between ourselves, separated by race and class, but these are just ideas. We're heading in the wrong direction because we believe lies and focus on comfortable thoughts.

Our egos are too big. We're searching for the truth because we're starving for something real. People want more, but it's hard to get ahead when you're trapped.

It's important to remember that everyone feels lost sometimes. But we all share the same world, the same emotions, and the same need for connection.

These Streets

The streets are an integral part of our daily lives,
We go up, down, left, right, diagonally, and across from time to time.

These streets produce breadwinners,
These streets produce beggars,
These streets are refreshing,
These streets are depressing.
We jog in these streets because none of us can actually run the streets.

We can never die for the streets,
But we sure can fight, kill, steal, and destroy in the block
For a territory if it's separated and intersects with these streets.
Some of us were born of women but these streets raised us.

They know our life,
They know our individual strive.
We just know and trust in these streets to lead us
Where they may.
For years they've fed us, bruised us, left us in dismay.

In these streets there's both Jesus and Judas,
For our morals often decay.
These streets brought and took joy and suffering.
These streets brought the eloquent and stuttering.

These streets are cold,
These streets are hot,
These streets are warm at dawn.

In these streets, survival and demise is the only guaranteed outcome.
These streets raised legends,
These streets raised crooks,
These streets raised reverend's,
These streets are big enough to be a series of books.
For streets smart people don't learn from the books.

These streets is where some of us will retire.
We don't always judge by attire if required,
For these streets turn a Goodyear tire to a sandal if one desires.

Beyond the Filter: Longing for a Love That Grows Like a Weed

We live in an age curated for connection, yet often starved of it. Scroll through any social media platform and you'll be bombarded with images of picture-perfect romance: flawless couples, grand gestures, and relationships that seem to exist solely to garner likes and admiration. But is that really what love boils down to? Is that the kind of love that truly sustains and nourishes the soul?

For some, the answer is a resounding no. The kind of love that truly resonates transcends the fleeting validation of the online world. It's not a performance, but a deeply rooted connection that thrives even when the filter fades. It's a love that echoes the ancient Greek concept of Agape – unconditional, selfless, and unwavering.

This isn't about the superficial. It doesn't fixate on flaws, career paths, or societal expectations. It's a love that looks beyond the surface, delving into the core of a person and recognizing a kindred spirit. It's a soul-level connection, a magnetic pull that defies logic and societal norms.

This kind of love is profound and, perhaps, even a little daunting. It's a love that chooses, that clings, that persists. It's like a garden weed, tenacious and resilient, pushing its roots deeper with each passing season. It grows relentlessly, impervious to doubts, criticisms, and the changing tides of life. It doesn't ask for permission, it simply is.

The beauty of this kind of love lies in its unwavering commitment, its acceptance of imperfection, and its refusal to be defined by external forces. It's a love that offers a safe harbor, a place where vulnerability is welcomed and flaws are celebrated as part of the tapestry of what makes us human.

However, the question remains: can everyone live with it? Can everyone embrace the relentless growth, the unwavering devotion, the unshakeable foundation of such a profound connection? It requires a willingness to shed societal expectations, to embrace vulnerability, and to commit to a journey that may not always be easy, but will undoubtedly be transformative.

This kind of love isn't for the faint of heart. It challenges us to be our most authentic selves, to embrace the imperfections, and to nurture a connection that transcends the fleeting trends of modern romance. It's a love that grows like a weed, persistent and powerful, and it begs the question: are you ready to cultivate it?

Open Letter

"I know I’m not an easy person to deal with, I get that. I get upset easily. My moods and reactions don’t always fit the situation at hand. I’m stubborn, prideful, and very particular about how I think things should be done."

Ahem…

Sometimes the world feels like it's pressin' down, ya know? Like you breathin' underwater, and ain't nobody throwin' you a rope. This ain't no feel-good bullshit, this is that real-life, stomach-in-knots, stare-at-the-ceiling-til-the-sun-comes-up kinda shit.

We out here grindin', chasin' dreams that feel further away every damn day. People see the hustle, the shine, maybe even a glimpse of success... but they don't see the nights spent wonderin' if any of this even matters. They don't see the demons you fightin' just to make it to the next morning.

I been through some things, seen some things, felt some things that would break most. The kind of pain that makes you question everything you thought you knew. Loyalty fades, love turns sour, and trust becomes a luxury you can't afford. Faced with betrayal after betrayal, a man starts to sink in the dark abyss of his mind.

It's a cold world out here, and sometimes you gotta be cold to survive. You armor up, put on a front, and pretend like you got it all figured out. But behind the mask, you're just a person searchin' for somethin' real, somethin' that sticks.

I'm talkin' to the ones who know this feeling. The ones who been knocked down, counted out, and still find a reason to get back up. The ones who understand that life ain't a fairytale, but a goddamn battlefield.

This ain't a cry for help, it's a nod of recognition. A "I see you" to the warriors out there battlin' their own demons. Keep your head up, keep pushin', and never let the darkness consume you. We ain't promised tomorrow, but we can make today count.

And to the people who hate: Keep hating, you ain't never gonna bring me down. You gotta do better than that.

Dear Life,

What's the damn point? What's the reason we fight so hard just to end up back at square one?

I will never understand.

That’s the question I’m wrestling with... maybe you are too. If you are then, God bless us all.

The Slow Fade When Death Isn't Physical

We universally recognize death as the cessation of biological functions: no heartbeat, no breath, no brain activity. But what if the true death, the one that truly extinguishes the light within us, occurs long before the body ceases to function? What if the real demise begins not with a final gasp, but with a slow, insidious fade of the spirit?

For many, death isn't a sudden event; it's a gradual erosion. It's the day conscience loses its grip, when the internal compass that guides us towards right and wrong spins uselessly. It's the creeping apathy that silences the caring voice, the one that once felt deeply for the suffering of others. It's the gradual evaporation of love, replaced by a cold indifference, a closing off of the heart. It's the erosion of empathy, the inability to understand or share the feelings of those around us, leaving us isolated in our own private world. And perhaps most poignantly, it's the crushing weight of hopelessness, the absence of that vital spark that fuels our dreams and aspirations, both for ourselves and for the world around us.

When these fundamental elements of the human experience begin to wither, are we truly living? Or are we merely existing, shells of our former selves, walking through the motions of life with a hollowness that defies any medical diagnosis?

"I am walking dead," one anguished soul recently wrote, encapsulating this profound and often overlooked reality. "Cry not at my funeral for my demise came last summer." This powerful statement speaks volumes about the silent suffering of those who have lost their inner light, those whose internal world has crumbled long before their physical being fades away.

This "spiritual death" can be triggered by a multitude of factors: trauma, chronic illness, profound loss, crippling depression, or the relentless pressure of a world that often feels indifferent to our individual struggles. The causes may vary, but the effect is the same: a gradual detachment from life, a slow fade into a darkness that no amount of medical intervention can reverse.

Recognizing this form of death is crucial. It forces us to confront the importance of mental and emotional well-being, to prioritize connection and empathy, and to nurture the flame of hope within ourselves and others. It reminds us that true living isn't just about breathing; it's about feeling, caring, and believing in the possibility of a brighter future.

Perhaps, instead of solely focusing on prolonging the physical existence, we should dedicate more resources to preventing this slow, agonizing descent into spiritual death. We need to foster environments that nurture compassion, understanding, and hope. We need to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage open and honest conversations about the struggles we all face.

For those who feel the darkness closing in, remember that help is available. There are resources and individuals who care and want to help reignite that inner spark. Don't let the slow fade become a permanent eclipse.

Perhaps, by acknowledging this deeper understanding of death, we can learn to truly live.

Is Death More Painful Than Life

The Uncomfortable Question: Is Death More Painful Than Life?

We spend our lives, forward the most part, trying to avoid conversations about death. It’s a topic steeped in fear, uncertainty, and profound sadness. Yet, it’s a universal experience, the single inescapable truth that binds us all. And in the quiet moments, when the whirlwind of daily life subsides, a certain question can arise, a haunting whisper that asks: is death as painful as life?

It’s a question that cuts to the core of our existence, a subtle rebellion against the narrative that life, by its very definition, is the superior state. We’re taught to cherish life, to fight for it, to fear its end. But what if the experience of living, with all its inherent struggles, its heartaches, its disappointments, is sometimes more agonizing than the unknown that awaits us beyond the veil?

Consider the spectrum of human suffering. There's the physical pain – chronic illnesses, accidents, the slow decay of the body. But beyond that lies the vast landscape of emotional and psychological torment – the crushing weight of grief, the piercing sting of betrayal, the gnawing emptiness of loneliness, the relentless burden of mental illness. These are the silent wounds we carry, the battles we fight internally, often unseen and unacknowledged.

Life is rarely a smooth, untroubled journey. It’s a rollercoaster of highs and lows, a dance between joy and sorrow, hope and despair. We endure the pain of loss, the sting of rejection, the frustration of unfulfilled potential. We wrestle with existential anxieties, the fear of meaninglessness, the weight of our decisions. This is the reality of being human, and it’s not always pretty.

And then there’s death. While the physical act of dying can undoubtedly be painful, the question shifts when considering the experience of death itself. After all, once consciousness fades, does suffering continue? For most, the fear of death lies not in what follows, but in the unknown, in the cessation of existence as we know it, in the separation from loved ones. We fear what we don’t understand, and death remains the ultimate mystery.

So, is it possible that, in some cases, death offers an escape from the persistent pain of living? Is it possible that the cessation of consciousness, the end of struggle, could be a form of peace, a respite from the relentless challenges of existence? This isn't to romanticize death or diminish the value of life. Rather, it’s to acknowledge the inherent complexity of human experience, to recognize that pain, in its myriad forms, is an integral part of it.

This question doesn't offer easy answers. It invites us to contemplate the nature of suffering, the meaning of life, and the mystery of death. It urges us to be compassionate not only towards those who are struggling but also to ourselves. It reminds us that life is a precious gift, but also a challenging one. And perhaps, in acknowledging the potential for pain, we can find a deeper appreciation for the moments of joy, connection, and peace that we do experience.

Ultimately, the answer to the question "is death as painful as life?" is deeply personal and subjective. It depends on individual circumstances, perspectives, and the unique tapestry of each person’s life. The very act of asking it, however, is a powerful reminder to live with intention, to seek joy amidst the struggle, and to cherish the precious time we have, however fleeting.

It's a question that compels us to live more fully, to embrace the messy, beautiful, and sometimes painful journey of being alive.

random thoughts about leaving

In the quiet hours of twilight's embrace,
A tale unfolds of parting ways, a chase,
Where footsteps fade and memories burn,
Leaving behind a heart that yearns.

Oh, the bittersweet sorrow of farewells,
As we wander through life's intricate spells,
In the depths of souls, a longing stirs,
For the ones we leave, the ones we were.

With heavy steps, we venture afar,
Seeking solace from a distant star,
Leaving behind what once was dear,
In pursuit of dreams, we hold so near.

A chapter ends, a new one begins,
As the road ahead gleams and beckons,
Yet a whisper lingers, a haunting plea,
Will we ever return, will we ever be free?

Oh, the echoes of laughter, the tears we shed,
As we bid adieu to the life we led,
For in leaving, we find a piece of our soul,
A chance to grow, to become whole.

But as we tread on unfamiliar ground,
A yearning for home is forever found,
The places we've left, the faces we've known,
Forever etched in the depths of our own.

The winds may carry us far and wide,
Yet the heart's compass will never subside,
For in every step, in every turn,
The longing to return, forever burns.

So, let us embrace the journey we take,
With open hearts, and promises we make,
For though we leave, we'll never forget,
The moments we shared, the love we met.

And though we may never return again,
In our hearts, the memories remain,
For leaving is but a part of life's grand dance,
A chance to grow, to take a chance.

So, let us cherish the moments we share,
For in leaving, we find the strength to dare,
To explore, to discover, to forever yearn,
In the hope that one day, we may return.

Protest Your Sanctuary

This piece isn't about blame shifting/rotating, projecting but rather a honest attempt in helping you protect your sanctuary brother or sister be awake and protect your sanctuary.

A sanctuary is a place of safety, refuge or protection for the purpose of this piece , a sanctuary may be divided into these four categories.

1. Physical

2. Mentally

3. Spiritually

4. Emotionally

Your Mental health, Personal space ,and Circle of friends are all part of your sanctuary.

•The kind of people you surround yourself with

•The kind of activities you engage in for fun

•The kind of activities you engage in for self development

•The kind of music you listen to

Please understand that we are personally responsible for who we become at the end of the day.

Protecting your sanctuary, you won't achieve certain things if you are too emotionally invested in people who do not add any positive in your life.

Accommodating such people in your life is a recipe for disaster.

Such people are nothing but, dead weight.

Not that they are useless entirely it's just that they are not useful to you and your earthly assigned mission. Dead weight 💪🏋️may help you if you are a body doing bench presses otherwise it slows you down or prevent you from getting ahead....cut it✂️

Stay away from toxic people in life who guilt trip you for what you have managed to achieve on your own and tell you that you should be thankful because you have this and that stop looking for more because there are people less privileged than you whereas you earned your achievement's purely on basis of;

  • Personal Drive
  • Attitude
  • Self Discipline
  • Sacrifices
  • Determination
  • Ambition
  • Endurance

Toxic people tie a noose around their ignorance, arrogance and pride just to sit comfortably in their comfort zone playing the victim as they grow and go through life without being responsible for anything except blaming those who put work in.

I am an African Child and that's without a single shade of doubt but I can't relate with most people my generation based on what I have wrote.

I feel that as an African we still have a long way to go mentally more than physically,

we need to fetch our lives from deep within ourselves first and foremost.

There are negative things in the past that were done to our forefathers that hindered our growth, let's break the cycle.

History cannot be changed but we can't trade the future for Social gatherings, fun and adding to population whereas we have major shortages elsewhere.

It is within us to change the status quo, it is within us to put our best foot forward in unity and find a way to translate to the world and each other that greatness is our fate.

If this is mutual , it is crucial for you to protect your sanctuary and stay away from anyone who has not made means to achieve anything in the past 12 months and isn't making any moves towards progress.

Securing our future is the only gospel we should be preaching, prioritizing and practicing properly.

We are emphatic as humans meaning we have the capability to sensing the emotions of others.

You can't walk into a house full of people mourning 😭😢 and maintain a smile☺️ throughout whether you are happy or not that's just the way it goes.

Energy is like temperature Fam, even ice ❄️ doesn't stay long without changing form in a hot oven 🔥.

Protect your sanctuary, your work ethic, your consistency.

Rub shoulders with people whom are more knowledgeable than you , if they aren't they better be open minded and willing to grow otherwise they will change you instead.

It may seem as if you are thinking highly of yourself but if that's the only option you are left with, make it... protect your sanctuary.

Protect your sanctuary everyone have an idea of what they must have in order for them to feel complete and that includes their dreams but very few are willing to pay the price.

If success was a 300+ pages book most people would simply skim through the pages staring at the pictures... protect your sanctuary.

Our generation have retired from thinking, original ideas are rare and i can tell from stolen posts flooding your FB friends timeline .

Protect your sanctuary.

I KNEW A GIRL ONCE

I knew a girl once who lived in a house made of skin,With the spine of time stretched through it.

The slightest wind would make it spin,It trapped a symphony of voices.

An escalating cacophony of whirlwinds

Each see one a pinpoint in time

An etched groove in her mind

But she refused to unravel

Terrified of what she might find,

Instead she spent her days living from the outside in

She wore badges of silence

And learned to bend with most winds

And when the horns would blow

She'd let their fury reign from within.

Protected by falsehoods and pride

A thick societal skin,

But to the world she glowed

Like the moon and sun's origins

Wrapped up in someone else's skin.

That's when the whispers begin,

That she was coloured by incest.

Coloured by date rape,

Coloured by pretense,

False representations,

False mandates.

Open your eyes,

Realize when your true voice calls,

That no lies will hold it within,

Every day of your life a new truth you will write,

But with your eyes closed you will spin.

Open your eyes,

Realize when your true voice calls,

That no lies will hold it within,

Every day of your life a new truth you will write.

But with your eyes closed you will spin

Open your eyes

Realize when your true voice calls

That no lies will hold it within

Every day of your life a new truth you will write

But with your eyes closed you will spin

Now Is The Time

now is the time

In a few years from now, the main  difference between us will be how we spent our time as youth before we speak of success. Our most valuable asset is not that expensive watch , but time itself.

We are all allocated the same 24 hours and how we spend it is what makes us differ at the end of the day.
You can choose to sleep after watching your favorite TV program  while other kids are burning midnight oil studying or partying  until the early hours of the morning..

It is all up to you just beware of what you are spending your time in or on, because it is your future investment, your time is the only thing you'll be left with when  everything else is over...will it be time spent in regret or rejoice ? You get to decide it now.

At times as Africans we think we are not prospering because of traditional reasons and witch craft but what we forget is that we invest our time daily and if we invest in wrong things we will simply reap what we invested.

So from me to you remember this.

  • You have the power to make decisions and your decisions have the power to make you.
  • Time is a luxury and Timing is everything.
  • Everything is possible but not everything is profitable.
